Adopt a Grad

Junior Auxiliary of the Eastern Shore

“Adopt a Grad”

The JAES Adopt-a-Graduate program is a 2-year graduation program that will kick-start its first year with a select amount of high school juniors who are in need. This program aims to help and assist, both emotionally and financially, those juniors and seniors on the Eastern Shore who may be considered “at-risk” or unable to graduate based on financial needs and/or hardships. JAES Adopt-a-Grad will provide graduation guidance, mentor-ship, service opportunities and financial help for the high costs associated with graduating to include ACT testing in their Junior year, and moving into their Senior year, senior fees, on prom ticket, basic senior portrait package, senior year book, cap & gown and diploma expenses.

Our organization was shocked to learn that there are seniors in high school that are unable to “walk” at graduation due to not being able to financially afford the high costs of caps and gowns, graduation fees, and over-due school fees. These are only just a few expenses that graduating seniors (and their families) face. Through much discussion, our JAES Adopt-a-Grad program was born during our 2021-2022 service year.

To adopt a current Senior, and help him/her graduate, “adoption” donations of any amount are welcomed and appreciated. Your minimal donation will make a HUGE impact to one of our 11 graduating seniors who are in financial need this year.

As a community, we WELCOME YOU to join our efforts!!! How can you help???

“Adopt a Grad”

Below you have the option to donate and sponsor an “Adoption” for a local Fairhope High School Senior who is in need of financial assistance in order to participate in his/her graduation ceremony. Without these fees being paid, this senior will not be allowed to “walk” at graduation. Any amount in adoption fees is appreciated, and no donation is too big or too small.

Be a Blessing to a local FHS Senior, “Adopt a Grad” today!

Adopt a Grad

I would like to make a financial pledge to “Adopt” a graduating senior who is in need. My donation will help cover the costs associated with outstanding school fees, graduation fees, and cafeteria fees. My pledge today will help a local FHS Senior be able to participate in and walk at his/her Graduation Ceremony.

$5.00
